The East Kent Automotive business plan was a dream of two Directors back in 2012. It took over a year to ensure we structured our business for our customers ensuring we can deliver the best service and quality at a very competitive price. In September 2014 the Plan was turned into a reality with our brand new facilities offering great value servicing and repairs. The recruitment process took a bit longer as we ensured we had the experience and the quality to deliver our vision. We also offer alternative transport: Courtesy Car,Collection & Delivery Service & Lifts
More importantly we want our customers to be able to consult with all the members of our team and gain trust. We are more than happy to go that extra mile to ensure your experience is stress free and positive. Your keys won't just be left behind reception on completion of your work, you will be often invited in for a drink and a chat whilst you wait. We want our Customers to be our Sales People.

My love of cars started as an apprentice at Rootes Maidstone back in 1980. Qualified as a technician, I decided I wanted to progress my career further and had set sights to become a manager. To be the best I had to work for the best. I have been privileged not only working for the best brands but to work and learn from the best leaders in the industry.
Working for prestige brands like Volvo, BMW, Porsche & Audi. My determination and focus lead me to become Head of Business at the Audi dealership in Canterbury. During this period I developed my skills in General management, leadership skills, people management and customer focus skills. This lead me to build a winning team achieving great customer satisfaction and financial results during my time at Audi.
I now want to use my experience and knowledge to ensure East Kent Automotive fulfills the business plans we have set to become one of the best independent workshops in the South East.
Having worked with the VW group over the past 40 years in management with the last 10 years at Audi in Canterbury as Aftersales Manager. I have had great pleasure working with Kirit for 6 years and we both have the same passion in looking after our customers. It's great to see the detail in planning the workshops and the investment the Directors have put in. l I feel energised bringing in my experience to East Kent Automotive to support the team and grow the business for the future.
Mark Packer- VW /Audi Master Technician
Mark brings in a vast number of years of experience to our team. Marks ability to deal with complex problems and his approach is a credit to his years of dedication in learning all the latest technology in modern day cars. A great coach and customer relations understanding and talking to our customers to identify their vehicle issues.
Julian Hopkins – Senior Technician
Jaguar & Land Rover- Range Rover ( JLR) Level 3
Jules as he like to be called has been brought up with JLR having gained all his experience at the Main Dealer in Canterbury. Jules brings years of experience and knowledge to the business especially with JLR. For the last few years Jules has been working at a JLR independent and felt it was time for change and had no hesitation joining EKA after understanding our aspirations going forward.
Having completed my Advance Apprenticeship programme and gained my Level 3 qualifications, it's a great pleasure to come and work at East Kent Automotive. Having worked with my mentor Jules previously I now have the opportunity to work within an environment that is highly skilled and experienced. The facilities and detail in work is great to see and the quality of work and customer focus we deliver is very inspiring. I want to progress on and become a Master Technician at East Kent Automotive. Arthur has started his further training on the road to become a Master Tech.
